I’ve been thinking long and hard recently about how I’m approaching photography. There was one point a couple years ago where I totally gave up on digital photography. I sold my Canon 50D, lenses, and I picked up the Leica M3 I currently have in my possession. Up until Christmas last year, all I shot was film (I LOVED IT). Five months ago, I bought myself a Fujifilm X100, but now I feel like I’m neglecting my M. I kind of want to make the switch back to just shooting film again. Maybe even switch my M3 for an M4-P or an M6 classic and convert the money I get from the X100 into a 35mm or 50mm Summicron…

Leica M3 versus Finepix X100 by Nokton on Flickr.
I am debating whether to bring my Leica M3 along with my x100 with me for my trip to Paris next week. A fixed 35mm equiv should be enough right? I know I will be walking up to the Sacre-Coeur Basilica and I know that my 15mm lens would work wonders…but then again the panorama mode on my x100 should be good enough…idk anyone have any thoughts?
