1. You are the strongest person I know.  You grew up during a World War, moved to a country which you only knew how to say “hello” and you survived cancer.  Thank you for everything.

2. You’ve seemed to have lost your way.  I’m not disappointed but I’m worried.  Please please please call me if you need anything.

3. Fighting is a part of every relationship even if you’ve been married for more than a decade.  I don’t know how you two met, but I remember when I was young, you guys seemed to love each other very much.  The waters may seem stormy but there are calmer seas coming.

4. You see?  Things turned out ok in the end didn’t they?

I don’t hate you.  I just don’t respect you.  Maybe there are some things that mom said that shouldn’t have been said but at least she didn’t sugar coat it.  Grandma even asked if I resented you but to be honest I’m indifferent at this point.  On some days I wonder why I feel this way and I guess it’s just my personality.  If I was any different, I would flip shit and refuse to talk to you.

6. I know somewhere deep down inside your child-like mind, you’re still in there.  I can’t imagine what it’s like to be you.

8. You seem to be so distant on your off days.  Tell me what’s wrong because I’m here to listen.  Don’t say “I’m fine.” cause I know damned well that you’re not.

9. Treat yourself sometimes.  You seriously need a vacation once in a while.
