People say that the first victory in the War on Terror was won aboard United 93, a hijacked plane who’s passengers and crew decided to try and retake control of the aircraft from the hijackers on that tragic day in September of 2001. United 93 crashed near Shanksville, PA, failing to reach its intended target in Washington D.C. due to the heroic efforts of those on board. Here is an ending clip from United 93, which dramatized the attempted retaking of the aircraft.
